So I had an argument with another staff about a "skyboat". In picture 1, as you can see my "skyboat" have logs to support them. Technically the boat is not, because the logs are helping to suspend. http://steamcommunity.com/id/ethanni/screenshot/613969272566037390 In picture 2, this is an actual skyboat, because nothing is helping to support it. http://steamcommunity.com/id/ethanni/screenshot/613969272566037994
http://devinity.org/threads/is-this-a-skyboat.1222/ Decap said he would slay for it. If was in a ban request. He would ban for it.
And? If you would read what I posted, you would find it stating. "It's really up to the admin in these situations."
I feel that it is wrong, since it is technically not a skyboat, due to props supporting it. I would say yet to a skyboat, if it is blatantly floating by itself in midair, but this has at lease something supporting it.
Screenshot #1 is NOT a skyboat so as long as the platform could be made to fall after its support beams are taken out. Screenshot #2 IS a skyboat--the platform is floating in mid air because it was smart-welded to every other prop. Verdict: Floppy DID NOT make a skyboat.
If I ever implement the weld-distance-limit thing I started working on, skyboats would be a thing of the past.
