Since Dawson came up with Naval Mine, let me introduce you to some other ideas we came up with. Idea: Introduce you a torpedo - Entity, that can be spawned with a toolgun. (Above - original prop. Below - resized. Resized version will be used.) Details:-Torpedoes are self-propelled weapons with a explosive warhead. If you want to make your raft into a warship - thats the thing you need. -Purchased with a toolgun. -Torpedoes can be only attached to props you've spawned. It works like a thruster, but you installing on your ship "sideways to the prop" instead of "forwards to the prop". After installing it, you need to point it in the right direction (tilt it) by using your toolgun. -Torpedoes can be launched by pressing an assigned key on your keyboard. After pressing a button, it will unwield from your prop and thrust itself forward. -You need to point them towards your target manualy, by moving and\or turning your ship with harpoon and\or motor. You can't control torpedoes. They only move forward. -They can be destroyed any time, even if they attached to the prop. Destroyed torpedo will explode. Explosion can affect even the owner of torpedo. -If torpedo reaches it's destination and hits a prop, it will explode. Radius of exposion: x3 the size of torpedo. Props directly hit by torpedos become unwelded, but explosions themselves do not cause unwelding. -They are not working in build stage (deactivated). Prop Stats: "A simple gun does not give you chance to be victorious on the battlefield. Torpe'does."
Like the naval mine this is a good idea and i would love messing around with it to see what its capable off. but i think the unweld part would make it a bit ´´strong´´ since you practacly got a rocket without flame dmg that can be destroyed.
What is stronger? Rocket, that can unwield everything you have, and you can barely escape it, or Torpedoes, that move with speed of a turtle and can be destroyed? Without this feature its gonna be useless. Believe me.
well true. it would be funny if it was somehow codeble that they go streight down when you ´´trigger´´ them and when there under prop go straight up. would make it a bit more usefull.
+1 Support This could prove as another aspect of battle to have fun with. I'd like to see this implemented.
Description changed, and so is screenshot of the prop. Resized version (thanks, Dawson) will be used as an torpedo.
