I wanted to make this thread to kind of give an idea of when you "should" or "should not" use your votekick/ban. These are NOT rules, just guidelines.

VIPs have privileged access to the !votekick and !voteban commands. However, please keep in mind that such a privilege does not automatically make someone a member of Staff.

Our reason for providing VIP members with the ability to vote kick/ban is because we feel that users who donate are less likely to abuse such commands than regular attendees.

Appropriate times to initiate a vote kick/vote ban
    • When a player is prop pushing.
    • When a player is threatening/harassing you or someone else.
    • When a player is sabotaging your or someone else's boat(s).
    • When someone is prop farming/stalling the round.

Inappropriate times to initiate a vote kick/vote ban
    • When a vote kick/ban fails.
    • When a player is voice spamming, swearing, or simply irritating to listen to.
    • When someone asks/begs you to start up a vote kick/ban.
    • When someone is personally disrespecting you.
    • When someone is successfully kicked/banned and you open a vote immediately after they rejoin.

Following the above guidelines will relieve you from having to worry about getting in trouble for VIP abuse. There are always exceptions, but nonetheless, you should be fine.

Users should not be afraid to use these commands; we give them to you so that you may have something to fall back on if a Staff member is not available to assist you in-game.

If you have any questions. Don't hesitate to ask
