I suggest picking a game from the thread I made for community multiplayer games for the game session. It would give people plenty of time to download/install the game if need be.
Great suggestions, I think we'll have some fun playing any of those options. We'll take a consensus on the night of the conference.
Guys I am not eligible for this chat but i am just giving a suggestion play Double Action:Boogaloo Its on steam and its just 2.3 gb's Check youtube for more information
You can join the conference if you want, it's essentially public so long as you behave yourself. Also I'd really enjoy playing that as the game afterwards.
I wont be able to join the conference on that date. We have independence day on 15th of august and since I live India 5 pm EST would be 2:30 am for me and I wont be up in the morning at that time!!!
Conferece Notes Owner Announcements @Bayrock says that this conference is important @Bayrock and @Donkie say that their relationship is in a rough patch at the moment and the community decides that they need to communicate more @Bayrock is going to be sweating jailbreak code Jailbreak Discussion @Donkie says that a good way to get issues/suggestions across for jailbreak is through the github issue tracker, in a lot of ways it's superior to the forums It is decided that a specific region on the alcatraz map should be made to act as an infirmary given that there isn't one built in to the map @Decap asks about being able to change your vote for the roundchange function, this would be nice but it's not important, @Donkie also says that he has a rock the vote system that he may implement @Donkie talks about an f3 window similar in function to the Q menu on Flood, or the F4 menu on DankRP servers A large discussion takes place on in-game currency and what it can be used for, Purchasing Weaker weapons, weaponskins (See "CS:GO"), apparel such as hats, minor perks. (Minor changes to playermodels is also discussed but most of the voiced opinions are against this) A discussion on how this currency is earned takes place, methods similar to flood utilizing both cash and tokens seems popular, but no final decision is made We discuss the appealing idea of Jailbreak achievements in a system similar to flood Donkie says that he has made the first steps in creating a system that will provide purchasable reskins for weapons @Bayrock mentions the metal detectors again, explaining how they will act as a weapon detector to certain weapons such as Guns, but will not detect "Other" weapons, Shanks, Garrotes, etc. Discussed giving the prisoners a choice as to how difficult their LR is by giving them an option to take on a selected LR with each of the guards on the guard team individually, would be far more difficult but could give rewards Also spoke about more complex LRs, such as ones that respawn prisoners and guards, or that are for multiple livng players (Eg. Last 3) Discussed guards and prisoners leveling up as they play and slowly gaining access to abilities for the positions of Warden, Guard or Prisoner. (Eg. Selling weapons to other prisoners, Placing Guard NPCs, enabling PVP) It is discussed that leaderboard levels for Jailbreak should be calculated off of K/D ratio, time spent alive, total playtime (+ Achievements + Cash -when added) An F4 menu for all of the warden's abilities is discussed Flood Discussion @Dawson 's loading screen images are discussed and critiqued, it is pointed out that we'd love some for jailbreak given its current bland loading screen @Dawson clears up some misunderstands that people had with his Rainbow Colorising feature suggestion @Dawson glosses over a thread containing new weapon suggestions @Dawson showcases some replacement skins that are superior to some of the ones we are currently using and also some entirely new ones @Dawson brings up fixing the right click function of the no-collide tool We decide to remove the no-collide tool entirely because it gives very little benefit to actual gameplay (If any) and causes a damaging bug that unbalances gameplay and is easily abused General Discussion The conference discuss @Decap 's Idea of a chat filter, it is decided that the best way to go about this would be to give automatic warning levels @Bayrock says that he would like a warning system that can also be utilized manually by staff in-game @Decap talks about his idea of checking players for certain things before they are allowed to apply for staff (Playtime, Forum posts) Discussed staff having to fill out a reason on all bans else the ban will not be put through the system
